Chef Wars 2026 – Three Culinary Teams Compete for your Vote!

CHEF WARS 2026 is returning to the University of the Pacific on Wednesday, March 18 at The Marketplace from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (or until we sell out). This year, we have a different twist to the competition — we are featuring three teams from the University of Pacific Dining team. They will be challenged with creating the most delicious offering for you.

YOU BE THE JUDGE! Join us for a special dinner and try a dish from each culinary team and vote for your favorite.

MEET THE CONTENDERS:

Team Gray (Paul Hernandez & Mycal Mills): Menu 12-Hour Smoked Brisket with Carolina Barbecue Sauce, served with Truffle Mac & Cheese with Shrimp or Fried Maitake Mushroom Po-Boy Sandwich with Truffle Fries

Team Black (Cecilia Tapia & Nohemi Gonzalez): Menu A la Veracruzana Red Snapper with Fried Quesadilla or Rajas con Queso Fried Quesadillas and Shrimp Ceviche with Fried Sweet Potato

Team Orange (Carlos Juarez & Alonso Gaona Garcia): Menu: Grilled Waygu Beef or Impossible plant-based Bahn Mi with Aji Aioli served with Siracha Potato Chips
