Chef Giuseppe Randazzo is returning to The Lair at UOP February 16th and 17th at lUnch. Bon Appétit Pizza and Pasta Chef, Giuseppe was born and raised in Palermo, Sicily. Some of his most cherished memories include cooking with his mother, learning the patience of hand-crafting pasta, and taking in the delicious aromas of fresh garlic and herbs in her traditional Sicilian Kitchen. Chef Giuseppe was trained by Chef Carmello, who took him to the local Palermo market and taught him the importance of selecting local produce at the peak of seasonality and freshness, he shared all of his kitchen secrets and made-from-scratch recipes.
He eventually joined the Bon Appétit team, where he travels across the country teaching other Bon Appétit chefs the art of pizza and pasta making, while delighting our guests with his delicious pizza, garlic knots, focaccia, grilled sandwiches, calzones, pasta, donuts, and more. We are thrilled that the UOP community will get to taste and enjoy the finest flavors of Italy.
His culinary creations will be served at The Lair at both lunch and dinner. More details to follow.
