  • Sia Mohsenzadegan
    Resident District Manager

    Sia began his illustrious career in the food service industry in 1976 and in 1991, joined Bon Appétit Management Company. Sia is passionate about well prepared foods utilizing authentic and the freshest of ingredients. With Sia at the helm, the Bon Appétit Crew delivers over 6,000 fresh and healthy meals a day to students, faculty, staff, and the community. Sia’s many community activities include the development of a donation program to St. Mary’s Dining Hall as well as a purchasing program from Boggs Tract Community Farm and the Robb Student Garden. Sia has been integral in the facilitation of events with a wide array of clients, most notably Noble Peace Prize recipient Desmond Tutu and United States Past President, Bill Clinton. Sia is a recipient of Compass Group’s esteemed Be-A-Star award. When not at Pacific, Sia enjoys cooking for his family, supporting the 9ers, and exploring the many appellations of California Wine Country on the never ending search for the perfect Cabernet Sauvignon!

    Executive Chef

    Enjoying the buzz of the kitchen and being able to cook responsibly with good and sustainable products. Being able to teach and Learn from my crew everyday keeps my mind and soul sharp. While not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids, discovering the many adventures that our beautiful world has to offer.

  • Allen Plouffe
    Director of Operations

    Allen is a US Navy veteran and graduated valedictorian from the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. A.S. in specialized food studies and has a Le Cordon Bleu diploma. Allen started with Bon Appetit in 2008 as a grill cook at Intel Folsom. He worked his way up to Cafe Chef and then in 2012 he took over as Chef Manager for Oracle in Rocklin Ca. He began with University of the Pacific in May 2016.

  • Christian Alexander
    Executive Sous Chef

    Long before Executive Sous Chef Christian Alexander began his career in the kitchen at Valley Brewing Company, his passion for food was evident. Christian’s earliest food memory is that of his Mom’s freshly baked blackberry pie. He claims that the first slice of that pie made the hard work of picking blackberries well worth it! Christian’s presence has graced many a local kitchen, including the infamous Ryde Hotel on the Sacramento River. He has been a member of the Bon Appétit team for over ten years, primarily as Catering Chef. Christian, a fan of hard core punk, can be found in his kitchen at home cooking for his family, catching the latest episode of Chowder, and hanging out with his son learning some cool guitar riffs.
